BLD Club Team
Every Summer and Fall, Be Like David hosts a local club team for the Bonsall/Fallbrook area. We will have weekly practices at the Pala Fitness Center and participate in tournaments throughout San Diego & Orange County. This is our way of creating a local AAU traveling team in a fun, developmental space for youth basketball.
Basketball is 90/10
What is 90/10?
Basketball is often said to be 90% mental and 10% physical, yet most training programs only emphasize the 10%. At Be Like David Basketball (BLD), we focus on the 90%—the mental side of the game—because we believe mastery begins with understanding, not just repetition. WE TEACHE THE 90. Therefore, BLD hosts an online study-based program, where the bulk of our teaching takes place through virtual lessons. These lessons educate students in the confines of their home, then we meet in-person to apply and fine-tune what they learned on the mental & physical aspects of skills and maneuvers, teaching them to problem-solve and serve a clear purpose on the court.

Joining the BLD Club Team means becoming part of something bigger than basketball. It's not just about games—it’s about development, and unlocking your full potential.
Registration is free and secures your spot on the roster. You’ll also have the opportunity to select your jersey number—available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To get started, simply click “Register Now” and complete the form.
Step 2: Activate Your Club Membership
Club Team fees are broken into (2) pricing components. The first is the Club Member Fees. These are monthly recurring fees which cover weekly development clinics as well as 24/7 access to online curriculum. Club membership is mandatory for all club team players as it is crucial for player development.

Step 3: Submit Team Fee for the Season
The 2nd component is the Seasonal Team Fee. This is a 1-time payment and covers the cost of uniforms, tournaments, player insurance, paperwork, etc. for the season.
